Professors and business group leaders Daniel Satinsky and Sheila Puffer discuss their recent book, Hammer + Silicon, for which they interviewed more than 100 Russian-speaking American tech innovators and learned how they have profoundly influenced almost every aspect of American—and world—businesses. Learn who these Soviet-born scientists and technology experts are and how they have used their brainpower in innovative ways to create technologies that are the driving force behind companies, products, and entire industries.

In this event, Satinsky and Puffer will speak with a panel of local Russian tech entrepreneurs as they discuss the contributions their companies have made to the US business sector, and how their Soviet background influenced the success.
