This film tells the story of love, marriage, and the fight for equality. Director Donna Zaccaro documents the history of the Gay Rights and Marriage Equality movement in this country. Octogenarian Edie Windsor and her attorney, Roberta Kaplan fight for justice and fundamental dignity. Immediately following the screening, Jane Eisner, the Forward's writer-at-large will interview Roberta Kaplan about the film and her current legal case Sines vs. Kessler; the case against the neo- Nazis and other extremists who descended on Charlottesville, Va. in 2017, for what they called the "Unite the Right."Screening followed by Q+A with the film subject Roberta Kaplan and Jane Eisner of The Forward.
