You are invited to hear Russian-born writers Sana Krasikov and Julia Alekseyeva as they read from and talk about their recent works. Alekseyeva's graphic novel, Soviet Daughter, touches on many of the themes in Krasikov's The Patriots, shedding light on how different literary forms can convey similar meanings. Both authors will read from their books, after which there will be an opportunity to purchase the novels and have them signed.

Join a stimulating. intellectual and emotional discussion that explores the intergenerational trauma of immigration simultaneously portrayed in both books. Moderated by Victoria Neznansky, LCSW, whose distinguished clinical career in the field of trauma and immigration is enhanced by her passion for reading and the arts.

Generation R is supported by The Jewish Education Project, with generous funding from the Genesis Philanthropy Group.
